From the report, I found two points of view. One is the gap of middle class and working classe has been reducing, both the percentage of population and the wealth of the two classes. The other one is that although the gap of two classes has reduced a lot, there are still many differences between the two classes and the two classes also have their each specialities.
The numbers of people from the two classes are very closed now and the middle class will overtake in ten years after. The wealth gap between the two classes is £104,000, definitely it is not a larger number. Not only the gap between the two triditional classes reduced, but also there are some new kind of classes, such as ROBs, HEWs, SALs, etc. These kinds of people alos takes a larger percentage of population of Britain. All these classes mix together in the UK society and the borders between these classes are getting more and more indistinct.
There are also clear differences between the two classes. The income of the two classes almost be similar, but to use the money, the two classes have different choices. The middle class spends more money on investments and deposit more money in the bank. They have much more properties than working class. The differences are not just on money, but also on education, type of jobs and some other aspects. The most interestingly difference is that middle class is more meany than working class. Thats quite funny.

Multicultural Britain
As a foreigner in Britain, there are so many strange cultures surround me. Although China is also a country of multicultural society, the nationalities in China has been in a uniform country for more than two thousand years and more than 90% population of China are the Han nationality which has much more people than other nationalities. So the main culture in China is the Han nationality culture. But in Britain, its hugely different from China. The minorities take a larger percentage of population in Britain. It results in an impact of different cultures.
To be an international student in Wales, the most obvious differences between cultures is the food. There are three kinds of main food types arround me, they are Indian food, Chinese food and British food. There are a lot differences between these food and each kind of food has a huge consuming group. It is a good experience to try other kinds of food and also a good way for the communication between different cultures.
From the speech of Tony Blair, he said 'If you come here lawfully, we welcome you. If you are permitted to stay here permanently, you become an equal member of our community and become one of us.' It is an advisably target of the UK government. It is a good way to build a safe and steady society. Unfortunately, there are many difficulties during implement. For example, the suicide bombings happened in London last year, the frequent crimes which are made by robbers, etc. But anyway, there is no denying that to integrate all the nationalities in Britain is an right aim for the UK currently.
